To function properly, the colony must constantly evolve. Colonists need food, and collisions with asteroids force the crew to search for metal in space debris near the ship. There are currently two types of resources in the game:

  • Metal

  • Food

These resources can be exchanged for Mars Credits - an in-game currency. By donating one unit of Food and one unit of Metal to the development of the ship, you receive one Mars Credit

1 Metal + 1 Food = 1 Mars Credit

Gathering

You can start collecting the resource by clicking "Mine Metal" or "Grow Food".

After at least 60 minutes of gathering you will be able to collect the resources to you ARC.

Upgrading

You can increase the storage size or the speed of resource accumulation.

To do this, click "Upgrade" next to the desired parameter and pay the required amount of Mars Credits.

There is no resource storage limit in your ARC

Random events

Sometimes during the gathering a random event may occur.

These events may be either profitable or not. The key factor in dealing with the event is wether you have the specific item in your Cargo Hold.

Remember! The amount of items you can store in your Cargo Hold is limited by it's capacity

The time to react to the event is limited. Usually you have 15 minutes to use the needed item.

But what if you don't have the item needed? Don't worry! Events may affect production volumes but you won't always lose profits. However, items are useful for stable development. In the long run the benefits of using them will be very noticeable.
