Juna Architecture
Multi-mode Layer over EVM-Compatible Networks
Juna can operate on Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain and other networks using a single protocol on the "Juna Layer" where the main smart contracts and accounting mechanisms are located.
Cross-Chain Infrastructure
Multi-Network Token Bridge: The Juna Bridge enables seamless token movement across different blockchain networks through a secure lock-and-mint mechanism. When tokens transfer from one network to another, the original tokens are securely locked or burned on the source chain while equivalent tokens are minted on the destination chain, maintaining total supply integrity and preventing any possibility of double-spending across networks.
Unified Gas Payment System, Relayer-Forwarder (R-F)
Single-Token Transaction Fees: Users conduct all operations using only JUNA tokens, regardless of which underlying blockchain network processes their transaction. The Relayer-Forwarder system automatically handles the conversion from JUNA to native network currencies (ETH, BNB, MATIC) behind the scenes, eliminating the complexity of managing multiple cryptocurrencies.
Liquidity Pool Management: A dedicated exchange fund, maintained by the development team or designated DAO, ensures instant availability of native currencies needed for gas payments, enabling smooth user experience without requiring individual users to hold multiple token types or understand technical blockchain differences.
Core Technical Architecture
Foundational Smart Contracts: The ecosystem operates on essential smart contract infrastructure including corporate entity registries, user account management systems, credit and lending mechanisms, and comprehensive DAO governance contracts that handle voting, proposals, and community decision-making.
Data Feed Systems: Specialized Oracle networks continuously provide critical external data including real-time exchange rates, legal document confirmations, and economic activity measurements that feed into the "sum of goods" calculations used for monetary policy decisions.
Governance Technology Stack: Sophisticated DAO infrastructure enables democratic participation through secure voting mechanisms, proposal submission systems, and multi-signature wallet controls that protect community funds while maintaining transparent, decentralized decision-making processes.
