Step 1: Navigate to the Proposal
Go to the project space where the proposal is hosted.
Locate the Proposals tab and find the specific proposal you want to vote on.
Click on the proposal title to view its details.
Step 2: Review the Proposal Details
Carefully read the proposal’s title, description, and other details such as:
Voting Type: The mechanism (e.g., single choice or weighted).
Voting Start and End Date: The duration for which the voting is open.
Strategy: How votes are calculated (e.g., token-weighted or equal voting).
Decide how you want to vote based on the proposal's content.
Step 3: Submit Your Vote
Under the Vote section, select your voting option:
For example: Agree or Not Agree.
Click the Submit My Vote button to proceed.
A confirmation dialog will appear, displaying:
Balance Validation Date: Ensures your balance at the time of voting is valid.
Voting Power: Displays the power of your vote based on the strategy (e.g., token holdings).
Review the information and click Submit My Vote to confirm.
Step 4: Monitor the Results
After voting, you can see:
Results: The distribution of votes among options.
Quorum: The required minimum votes for the proposal to pass.
Your Vote: A confirmation of your selected option.
Check the Voters section for transparency in the voting process.
Notes:
You can vote only within the specified voting period.
Ensure your wallet is connected and has the necessary tokens (if applicable) for the voting strategy.
If quorum is not achieved, the proposal may not pass even if the majority agrees.
