Step 1: Start Creating a New Proposal
Navigate to your project’s page within the Juna DAO interface.
Click on the Add Proposal button to start.
Step 2: Declare Your Initiative
Fill in the basic information about your proposal:
Name: Enter a concise title for your proposal (minimum of 20 characters).
Image: Upload an image (JPG/PNG, minimum size 1280x512) to visually represent your proposal.
Description: Provide a clear description of your proposal (maximum 400 characters).
Link: Optionally, add a URL for additional resources or background information.
Discussion: Optionally, include a link to a discussion channel where community members can ask questions or share feedback.
Example:
Name: Initiative to Transform Vacant Lots into Urban Green Spaces.
Description: By creating greenery and gathering spaces, we enhance biodiversity, sustainability, and resident engagement.
Click Next once the form is complete.
Step 3: Set Voting Settings
Define the voting parameters for your proposal:
Blockchain-Used Voting: Toggle on if you want blockchain-enabled voting.
Voting Start and End Date: Set the dates for the voting period.
Wallet Balance Calculation: Choose how to calculate voter eligibility (e.g., all Juna users).
Quorum Required: Toggle on if a minimum number of votes is needed. Set the quorum threshold (e.g., 10 votes).
Voting History Visibility: Decide if users can see the voting history during the voting process.
Example:
Start Date: 21/01/2025
End Date: 04/02/2025
Quorum: 10 votes.
Click Next when finished.
Step 4: Configure Voting Options
Choose a voting type:
Single Option Choice: Participants select one option (e.g., Agree/Disagree).
Weighted Voting: Participants vote with a weighted preference.
Add the voting options:
Example: "Agree" and "Disagree."
Use the Add button to create additional options as needed.
Click Submit to finalize your proposal.
Step 5: Manage and Monitor Your Proposal
After submission, your proposal will appear on the project’s page under the Proposals tab.
Monitor its status (e.g., Pending, Passed, Not Passed).
Encourage community members to participate in the discussion and voting process.
